Many people have asked us what made us decide to open a hobby shop. Well, it all began one late afternoon not too long ago.
After driving home in traffic, one of my little twin boys came up to me and said "Daddy, we drive so far to get to a hobby
shop. They never have what you need. They always make you wait a long time before helping you. Daddy, we can do it
better, we can open our own hobby shop and we WILL do it better". Shortly after that my little boys wish became a
reality and Hillsborough R/C Hobby was born.
Hillsborough R/C Hobby is a full service store front hobby shop located in Hillsborough, New Jersey. We are a family
owned and operated hobby shop committed to providing to our customers the best customer service in the hobby industry.
Many of our customers have told us that our service has exceeded their expectations. We know we have a long road a
head of us, but with hard work, commitment, dedication, and with the support of so many of our loyal and new customers
we believe what was once only a wish from a little boy will grow into one of the best hobby shops "you" our customer will
ever experience.
From the first time you visit our store you will see how different we really are. We designed our hobby shop to be "user
friendly". Most of our products are easily accessible by "you" our customers. This means you won't always have to wait for
someone to get a part for you. Most of the common replacement parts can be easily accessible by the customer.
Our hobby shop is staffed with knowledgeable and customer friendly hobbyist ready to assist you in any way they can,
therefore you can be sure you will receive the highest level of service that has come to be the "norm" at our hobby shop.
In addition we are confident that we have the largest selection of radio control products in the entire county of
Somerset New Jersey. All we ask from "you", give us a chance and we will prove how different we really are.
